PCIC detained another foreign citizen targeted by INTERPOL 'red notice'

The Scientific Criminal Investigation Police (PCIC), in close coordination with the Immigration Service, this morning arrested a Chinese citizen identified as ZHANG Xiuquan, 27, the subject of a red notice issued by Interpol at the request of the authorities of the People's Republic of China.

A team from the Scientific Criminal Investigation Police (PCIC) detained this morning, at Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport, in Dili, a Chinese citizen identified as Yuan Nanfeng, 47, the target of a red notice issued by Interpol at the request of the authorities of the People's Republic of China.

The Scientific Criminal Investigation Police (PCIC), in collaboration with the State National Intelligence Service (SNIE), conducted an operation on the night of Wednesday, 08 July, in the 20 de Setembro Hamlet, Bebonuk (Dili), following an investigation of more than one month into suspected cyber fraud activities and illegal online gambling.
